NEW CANON D60

Canon's EOS-D60 is positioned as the serious amateur / semi-professional's digital SLR. Featuring an
EF lens mount and new 6.3 megapixel CMOS sensor it can deliver many professional features (and
resolution) at an affordable price. Canon's new EOS-D60 looks a lot like last years EOS-D30.
Indeed, apart from the obvious increase in resolution there's a lot about the D60 which it inherits
unchanged from the D30. However there are also a few new features, fixes and tweaks. To assist
those familiar with the D30 (and that's almost everyone who's followed digital photography in the
last year) this preview article is designed to bring you the 'what's new'.

I had a hands-on with the EOS-D60 for just two days, in that time I've been able to get a very
quick 'feel' for the camera, some of the new features and how it shapes up to the D30
